After another round of testing, feedback, and innovation, we’ve made big improvements to the comfort of our footbeds while keeping our strong commitment to sustainability and ethical production.

Our mission has always been to create a better footwear option for people who care about where their products come from and how they’re made. While many of you loved how our sandals mold to your feet over time, we also heard feedback from first-time wearers wanting a softer feel straight out of the box.

So we got to work—again!

Redesigned with Comfort & Sustainability in Mind

After a year of testing multiple prototypes, we’ve redesigned the footbed in collaboration with expert shoemakers in Portugal. The result?

• A custom new footbed mold
• A layer of natural latex-foam added just underneath the cork fabric
• A noticeably softer, comfier step from day one
• Faster molding to your foot’s shape
• Still 100% biodegradable footbed and fully vegan

Made Locally in Portugal, as Always

Just like before, all of our materials—especially our locally harvested cork—come from Portugal. And every pair of flip-flops is manufactured here by skilled artisans under ethical working conditions.
